CAPS Judgment Training (8 Hr Program):

CAPS offers an eight-hour course in judgment training with the CAPS DVD simulator for law enforcement and armed security officers. This course allows officers to learn when they are justified in applying deadly force using their own firearms and ammunition on life-size video scenarios. The officers develop an improved reaction time and precision with their firearms and better methods of articulating their use of force decisions. CAPS Dynamic Live-Fire Judgment Training (14 Hr Program):    Download PDF flyer

 A fourteen-hour live-fire judgment training course in the judicious use of deadly force in self defense. This course includes a qualification in the use of the defensive handgun as well as live-fire judgment training on the CAPS DVD system. The course is open to those who have a license that permits them to posses handguns. This is not a course for new shooters. Those interested in attending must already have the ability to safely draw a handgun from the holster and hit an 8.5”x11” piece of paper at a distance of seven yards in under 1.5 seconds.
